Privacy policy

Thank you for your interest in our website. Below we inform you about the handling of your data.

General information

Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Federal Government (Data Protection Act, DSG), every individual is entitled to the protection of their privacy and safeguarding against the misuse of their personal data. These provisions form a central foundation of our actions. Data protection is an important concern for our company and all its employees. In particular, personal data is treated with strict confidentiality. Accordingly, InnoTix does not trade addresses, rent or sell personal data, and does not disclose them in any other way without explicit consent.

Contact

As a prospect, customer, or subscriber to the newsletters of InnoTix, you voluntarily provide us with personal data via internet, mail, or telephone, which we will record in our internal and self-managed address database for the purpose of processing your request for information.
If you submit an inquiry to us via contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, as well as the IP address, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and for any follow-up questions. We do not disclose this data without your consent.

The websites use so-called cookies in part. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies." They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit. You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Use of Web Analytics Tools

Data privacy is important to us, which is why we refrain from using invasive web tracking software such as Google Analytics. To understand and improve the usage of our website, we utilize the analysis tool "Plausible Analytics," which does not set cookies in the browser. It also does not collect any personally identifiable information in general. It operates on the principle of "Privacy First." Here you can find background information on Plausible and the tool's data privacy.

Data Usage When Signing Up for Email Newsletter

When you sign up for our newsletter, we use the data necessary for this purpose or separately provided by you to regularly send you our email newsletter in accordance with your consent. The registration for our newsletter on this website is done in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registration, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary to prevent anyone from signing up with other people's email addresses.

You can change, block, or delete your contact details from the newsletter at any time, either by sending a message through our contact page or by using a designated link in the newsletter.

Projects

All data provided to us within the scope of projects remains the property of the client. The disclosure or publication of data (such as images, intellectual property, etc.) only occurs with the explicit consent of the client. Furthermore, the contractually established provisions between InnoTix and the client apply.

External data

Where data is processed in data centers, InnoTix ensures on a contractual basis that the data is protected from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or falsification to the best extent possible using suitable and industry-standard means.

Hosting Provider & Server-LogFiles

Our website is hosted on a server provided by Cyon, located in Basel, Switzerland. For each access to this website, standard web server log files are created, containing the following information: browser request, IP address, date and time, as well as the origin of the request (referrer information), the operating system used, browser type, language, and version (legal basis according to GDPR: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f with information security as a legitimate interest). These log files are used to detect technical issues, ensure security, and perform statistical analysis of website usage.

SSL encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the site operator, this page uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Liability for Links

References and links to third-party websites are beyond our responsibility. Any responsibility for these websites is declined. Accessing and using such websites is at the user's own risk.

Right to information and contact

You have the right to free information about the data stored about you by us, as well as, if applicable, the right to correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. If you have any questions about the collection, processing, or use of personal data, for information, correction, blocking, or deletion of data, as well as revocation of consent given or objection to a specific data use, please contact us directly using the contact details provided.
